Gallop has called an urgent meeting with the Sharks as their financial crisis deepens after their main sponsor LG's decision not to renewing a $900,000 a year contract.

The Sharks are reported to have paid $20,000 to former community liaison officer Jenny Hall after chief executive Tony Zappia hit her in the face.
Zappia has previously said he accidentally hit Hall last August while shadow boxing.
