The Wallabies and Brumbies flanker George Smith has won Australia's Super 14 Player of the Year award for a record fourth consecutive year.
Journalists decided weekly on the top three Australian players from each Super 14 match involving the four Australian sides, and Smith was awarded maximum points for the last three rounds to edge out the Waratahs and Wallabies prop Benn Robinson.
