Legendary Irish trainer dies

The legendary Irish racehorse trainer Vincent O'Brien has died aged 92.

O'Brien was voted both the greatest jumping and flat racing trainer of the 20th century, and his victories included six Epsom Derby winners.

During the 1970s, in association with one of the world's biggest owners, Robert Sangster, he established the famous Coolmore syndicate which remains a major influence in international thoroughbred breeding.
