Melbourne move set to pay off for Moss

A summer move to the A-League football champions Melbourne Victory appears to be paying off for New Zealand keeper Glen Moss.

The former Wellington Phoenix custodian announced the switch to Melbourne last year, despite the presence of long-time Victory number one Michael Theoklitos.

But Theoklitos has rejected the offer of a new contract with Melbourne for the 2009/10 season, in an effort to secure a deal overseas, leaving Moss to compete with former Australian youth international Mitchell Langerak for a starting berth.
