The New Zealand squash star Shelley Kitchen has lost in the quarter-finals at the Women's Open in Seoul in South Korea.

The second-seeded Australian Rachael Grinham twice had to come from behind, then save a match-ball, before overcoming Kitchen at the WISPA World Tour Gold squash event being staged on an all-glass court in the South Korean capital.

Grinham now plays Jenny Duncalf of England in the semi-final.

Malaysia's world number one, the defending champion and top seed Nicol David beat another Englishwoman Alison Waters to progress.

David plays Natalie Grinham of The Netherlands in her semi-final.
