Gold Coast survive against Dragons

The Gold Coast Titans have joined three other teams at the top of the National Rugby League after their 28-24 home win on Monday night over one of the co-leaders, St George-Illawarra.

It was Gold Coast's first win over the Dragons, and they maintained their perfect record at home this season.

Both teams lost a State of Origin player before the kick-off last night due to swine flu quarantine measures - the Gold Coast's Ashley Harrison and Dragons fullback Darius Boyd.

The New South Wales prop Luke Bailey went to hospital with a suspected broken arm at halftime, but he returned to play most of the final quarter.
