There's an inexperienced look about the All Blacks loose forwards for their first Test of the season against France on Saturday in Dunedin.
In the absence of the injured skipper Richie McCaw Adam Thompson has been moved from blinside flanker to the open side, with Kieran Reid in the number six jersey and Liam Messam number eight.
Assistant coach Steve Hansen says Thompson got the nod after an improvement in both his form and behaviour.
