The New Zealand batsman Jesse Ryder is undergoing further assessment in hospital for the muscle pain that kept him out of Wednesday's final pool match at the Twenty20 World Cup.
And Ross Taylor will be monitored over the next 36 hours after suffering a hamstring twinge during the match against South Africa at Lord's.
Team manager Dave Currie says Ryder's continuing to suffer serious discomfort and he was admitted to hospital as a precaution.
Currie says there'll be no decision for at least a day on whether Ryder will stay with the team.
He says Daniel Vettori is continuing to receive treatment for a shoulder injury and it's hoped he'll return to match fitness shortly.
And James Franklin's knee injury isn't serious so he's likely to be fully fit for the Super8 stage of the tournament.
