New look French team to play ABs

11:35 am on 11 June 2009

It's very much a new look French rugby team that'll take on the All Blacks in Saturday's first Test in Dunedin.

Coach Marc Lievremont has named only one uncapped player in the starting lineup, halfback Julien Dupuy, but he's named an expanded bench of nine players, so he'll have to omit two before kickoff.

France are missing a host of leading players either through injury or their late arrival in New Zealand because of commitments to the final stages of the French club championship which ended last weeeknd.

But the All Blacks feel they know what to expect from the French in Dunedin.

They've promised a more attacking game than they've shown in recent years and the All Blacks coach Graham Henry says while at this stage they're more interested in their own game, he has been keeping an eye on the opposition.
