Both the New Zealand men's and women's sevens team have shown they're on the right track to win the inaugural rugby sevens Olympic gold medal at Rio in 2016, in winning their respective World Cups in Moscow.

The All Blacks Sevens are celebrating their first world title win in more than a decade, after beating England 33-nil in the final while the women's beat Canada 29-12 in their final.

The men's side last won the title in 2001and success in Moscow this morning was very much a relief for long time coach Sir Gordon Tietjens and captain DJ Forbes, who's been in the side for the past eight years.
