New Zealand cricket captain Dan Vettori's first outing at the Twenty20 world cup is still far from certain.

Vettori has missed their first three pool matches because of a shoulder injury and he remains in doubt for Friday morning's opening Super 8 match against Ireland at Nottingham.

Team manager Dave Curry says he's still not completely right.

Batsmen Jessie Ryder and Ross Taylor will definitely miss the match.
