Olympic champion Mahe Drysdale has finished third in the single sculls in a regatta in the Netherlands in his first race since the Olympics.
Drysdale, who was competing in multi-events until March, came third in the Holland Beker regatta in Amsterdam.
Drysdale will compete at the Henley Royal regatta this weekend before returning to New Zealand for the elite trials where he will want to confirm his spot in the 2013 World Rowing Championships team.
