Roosters up to second after beating Manly

The Sydney Roosters are up to second place on the National Rugby League table after an 18-12 win last night over Manly.

Having taken care of Canterbury last week without their New South Wales State of Origin stars, the Roosters produced another match-winning defensive effort to down the Sea Eagles at Allianz Stadium, despite playing almost the entire second half with just two fit reserves.

Sonny Bill Williams, the game's biggest five-eighth, once again showed off his playmaking skills to engineer three of his side's four tries.
