No pressure on Adam Thomson

8:04 am on 12 June 2009

The All Black openside flanker Adam Thomson says he can't wait to fill Richie McCaw's boots in tomorrow night's opening test against France in Dunedin.

Thomson will make his second test start in the number seven jersey with McCaw out with a knee injury.

The Highlanders number six shifts to the other side of the scrum and is a part of a new look loose forward trio with Liam Meesam at 8 and Kieran Read at 6.

Thomson says he's not feeling any extra pressure...

meanwhile a decision on who will play on the left wing will be made at today's captain's run after Rudi Wulf injured his shoulder at training yesterday.... Cory Jane finished the training session in place of Wulf, while Lelia Masaga has been called into the squad.
