Team NZ simply whining says Coutts

The America's Cup holder Oracle has dismissed Team New Zealand's challenge to proposed rule changes as whining.

Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa are protesting safety recommendations regarding rudder elevators which have been suggested following the death of Artemis crew-member Andrew Simpson in May.

The four-time America's Cup winner and chief executive of Cup holders Oracle syndicate Sir Russell Coutts rejects suggestions the changes will benefit them.

He says Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa won't gain anything from the challenge and they're simply whining about tiny rule changes that won't affect the outcome of the competition.
