Wellington's Corey Jane will start in the All Blacks first test of the year, replacing the injured Rudi Wulf on the right wing.

Counties Manukau winger Lelia Masaga has been called into the reserves for the test against France in Dunedin tomorrow.

Wulf suffered a shoulder injury at training yesterday and an x-ray has revealed a small fracture to his left shoulder and will be out of action for up to six weeks.

It will be Janes third test but the first time he's been named in the run on side.

Masaga got the late call up as he was about to board a flight from Auckland to Samoa with the Junior All Blacks for the Pacific Nations Cup.

Wulf's injury brings to nine the number of likely first choice players unavailable for the season opener.
