The Canterbury Tactix have beaten the Queensland Firebirds 53-46 in their trans-Tasman netball clash in Christchurch.
The scored was tied up at 24-all at half time, but the Tactix put in one of their best performances of the season to draw away in the second half and led by 11 goals at one stage.
It's the 4th win of the season for the mid-table Tactix, while the loss dents the 4th placed Firebirds chances of making the play-offs.
It is the Tactix's first win over an Australian team this season.
