Adams makes Thunder debut in Summer League

The New Zealand basketballer Steven Adams has made a solid but unspectacular start to his career with the Oklahoma City Thunder in their opening game at the NBA Summer League.

Adams, who was the 12th pick in last month's NBA draft, threw down a big slam dunk early to score his only points of the game in 20 minutes on the court.

However he contributed more on the defensive end with six rebounds and two blocks as the Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers 76-68.
