New Zealand into U20 semis

6:24 am on 15 June 2009

New Zealand will play Australia in the semi-finals of the IRB Junior World Championship in Japan

after beating Argentina 48-9 in their final Pool A match.

New Zealand scored just the three points in the first half, with a penalty from Southland's Robbie Robinson and trailed 6 - 3 at the break.

But Wellington's Frae Wilson and Zac Guildford scored quickly early in the second half and

New Zealand went on to score seven tries, three to North Harbour's Nafi Tuitavake.

Coach Dave Rennie says Australia are a very talented side and are the favourites but New Zealand showed some very positive signs in the second half and need to take that belief into Wednesday night's semi-final.
