McCaw excited about return to club rugby

The All Blacks captain Richie McCaw says he can't wait to get back into rugby this weekend for his Christchurch club.

McCaw's last match was the shock loss to England in front of 82,000 at Twickenham. His six-month sabatical will end with him playing for Christchurch against University on Saturday.

He's played for his club before, following an injury, and is excited about turning out for them again.

McCaw says he enjoys playing at that level and there are no issues about a superstar playing grass-roots rugby.

He says the Christchurch boys are good blokes, he knows a few of them and used to play with the coach, so he'll just get in there and try to fit in and attempt to do well in the game on the weekend.

Both McCaw and Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder say a return to the Super Rugby side won't be considered until next week.
