Tough week ahead for All Blacks

4:17 pm on 15 June 2009

It won't get any easier for the All Blacks this week as they endeavour to level their series against France in Wellington.

Following their shock 27-22 loss at Carisbrook on Saturday night, the All Blacks will be without Adam Thomson for about six weeks after be broke his hand at the weekend, hooker Andrew Hore is doubtful for this weekend with a rib injury, and Ali Williams and Conrad Smith are not fully recovered from injuries after having to sit out the first test.

But halfback Brendon Leonard and loose forward Jerome Kaino have rejoined the squad.

Meanwhile the French will be up to full strength this week with the arrivals of players involved in the French club championship final.
