Uruguay breaks Iraqi hearts to book under-20 World Cup final

Uruguay has beaten Iraq in a penalty shootout to reach the final of the under-20 football World Cup in Turkey.

The Uruguayans came back with a late 87th-minute goal to earn extra time.

There was no more scoring, so it went to penalties, the Latin Americans breaking Iraqi hearts with a 7-6 triumph from the spot in Trabzon.

Uruguay go on to face France in Sunday's final.

Iraq face Ghana in the third place playoff.
