Home hopes of a Wimbledon mens champion for the first time in seven decades have been boosted by Andy Murray who has become the first Briton to win the Queens club title since 1938.

The 22 year old Scot thrilled the crowd in west London with a 7-5 6-4 win over the American James Blake, and the world number three will be under massive pressure this time next week at Wimbledon where it's been 73 years since a Briton won the men's championship.
