Chiefs top Super Rugby table

9:21 am on 14 July 2013

The Super Rugby round robin has finished with the defending champion Chiefs on top of the table after beating their 26-16 win over the Blues in Auckland.

The Chiefs now have a week off to prepare for their home semi final, and coach Dave Rennie says his team needs the break.

The Bulls have also secured a home semi final after qualifying second following their 30-13 loss to the Stormers this morning in Cape Town.

The Crusaders will host the Reds in next week's quarterfinals after the Queenslanders pipped the Waratahs 14-12 last night in Sydney.

The Cheetahs travel to Canberra for the other quarterfinal, following the Brumbies 21-15 loss to the Force.
