Blues lock Kane Barrett has been suspended for two weeks for stamping or trampling on Chiefs players during his side's loss in their last Super Rugby pool game at Eden Park last weekend.
Barrett - the new Taranaki provincial captain - was cited once and red carded two minutes later for the first-half incidents.
He was initially sentenced to a three-week ban but his admission of guilt and good disciplinary record saw that reduced to a fortnight.
