White Ferns finish group phase with third win

New Zealand's beaten South Africa by six wickets at Taunton to finish the group phase of the women's world Twenty20 tournament unbeaten after wins over Australia and West Indies.

The White Ferns passed South Africa's 124 for four with 11 balls to spare as skipper Aimee Watkins made 35 off 28 balls.

Coach Gary Stead says South Africa were about 20 runs short of a defendable total and the White Ferns were always ahead of the run rate.
