Changes likely in AB lineup

9:28 am on 16 June 2009

Injuries will force at least a couple of changes to the All Black starting lineup for Saturday's second test against France in Wellington when the team is named today.

Injuries to Andrew Hore and Adam Thomson will see hooker Keven Mealamu start and either Tanerau Latimer or Liam Meesam move onto the openside flank.

Halfback Brendan Leonard and loosie Jerome Kaino are expected to be available for selection, however centre Conrad Smith and lock Ali Williams are doubtful.

That could see Luke McAlister start at second five eighth with Ma'a Nonu moving out to centre.

Meanwhile forwards coach Steve Hansen says they'll also be working on mauling and countering the maul which they had trouble with at Carisbrook.

In the Super 14 players can pull down a maul, but that law isn't being used in this series.
