The former New Zealand cricketer, Mathew Sinclair, has announced his retirement from all forms of the game.

The 37-year-old batsman played 33 tests, 54 one dayers and two Twenty-twenty matches for New Zealand as wells 188 first class matches for Central Districts.

Sinclair is best remembered for scoring two test double centuries in his first 12 tests, but has long been out of favour with international selectors playing his last international match in 2010.
