French unhappy with Dunedin crowd

The French assistant rugby coach, Didier Retiere, says they're not particularly happy with the crowd reaction they got following their first Test victory over the All Blacks in Dunedin.

He told Radio Monte Carlo that they felt a certain animosity from some of the public which wasn't in the spirit of rugby.

Retiere says some people threw plastic cups full of beer from up high, there was booing during penalty kicks, and that they didn't expect to finish their victory lap under a hail of projectiles.

France play the second Test against the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday.
