Lions stay unbeaten in SA

The British and Irish Lions will go into this weekend's first rugby Test against the Springboks with an unbeaten record after grinding out a 20-8 win over Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth.

But the Lions weren't happy after the match - not only were there injuries to first five James Hook and prop Euan Murray but it was an ill-tempered affair with an eye-gouging allegation among several off-the-ball incidents.

The Lions assistant coach Rob Howley says the opposition overstepped the mark.
