Tonight's National Basketball League semi-final will be a rematch of last year's eliminator when Nelson host the Wellington Saints.
Last year the Saints won the semi 86-75 but this year the Giants have the home court advantage at Nelson's Trafalgar Centre.
The Giants swept the regular season series against the Saints and traditionally it's been tough to secure a road win in Nelson.
However the Giants have struggled at home of late, dropping their last two home games to North Harbour and Waikato.
And the Wellington side may be a little tired after having to overcome a nine-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to win their home quarter-final 80-75 against Hawkes Bay on Tuesday.
