White Ferns in to final

6:27 am on 19 June 2009

The New Zealand captain Aimee Watkins has led the White Ferns into their second World Cup cricket final in three months with what's been called the innings of the Twenty20 tournament.

Watkins' unbeaten 89 off 58 balls saw New Zealand to a 52 run win over India at Trent Bridge and they'll play England or Australia at Lord's on Monday.

Watkins also had luck on her side with India's wicketkeeper missing a chance from an edge which went for four.

Her innings included 12 boundaries, two of them sixes, and saw New Zealand to 145 for five.

India were virtually out of the game by the eighth over when they lost two wickets in two balls and they finished 93 for nine.
