Waikato's Philip Tataurangi has posted one of the best rounds of his career on the first day of the Nationwide Tour's Fort Smith Classic in Arkansas.
Tataurangi's carded an eight under par 62 to lead by one shot.
Grant Waite and Brad Illes both carded two over par 72's.
