Olympic bronze medallist Mahe Drysdale has had an impressive return to international rowing with a comfortable win in his heat at the World Cup rowing event in Munich.
Drysdale's time was the fastest in the four heats by six seconds.
In a good morning for New Zealand there were also heat wins to Emma Twiggs in the women's singles.
Other heat winners were Grant Duncan in the light weight mens singles and Storm Uru and Peter Taylor in the light weight men's doubles.
The women's pair of Emma Jane Feathery and Rebecca Scown won their heat.
In the men's pairs Eric Murray and Hamish Bond were winners as were Nathabn Cohen and Natthew Trott in teh double sculls.
