The New Zealand golfers David Smail, Doug Batty and Michael Campbell have all missed the cut at the US Open in New York, where many players are still to complete their second rounds due to weather delays.
Smail's second round of 77 saw him blow out to seven over par, three above the projected cut, while Batty again carded a 74 to be one shot back and the former US Open champion Campbell is eight over through 16 holes and 15 over overall.
The American Ricky Barnes leads by a stroke over compatriot Lucas Glover at eight under.
