Extra spice in netball clash

A little extra spice is set to be added to the do-or-die trans-Tasman netball clash between Queensland and Southern Steel, with Megan Dehn expected to line up against the Firebirds team she pulled out of before the season started.

Monday's clash in Brisbane looms as virtually a knockout encounter between the fourth placed Steel on 12 points and the fifth placed Firebirds on ten with just three rounds to play.

A former Australian international, Dehn who played for the Steel last year was added to the Steel roster after goal shoot Daneka Wipiiti announced she was pregnant.

Dehn didn't play last week, but Queensland coach Vicki Wilson expects the veteran shooter to play tonight.

Wilson believed a loss to the Steel would effectively end Queensland's finals prospects.
