Japan have scored their first win of the Pacific Nations Cup rugby tournament beating Tonga 21-19 in Lautoka.
Japan led 15-7 at half time and although the Tongans scored 2 second half tries, the Japanese just kept ahead with 2 penalties.
The Junior All Blacks, who are unbeaten after 3 matches, play Tonga next Thursday.
Later today Fiji play Samoa in Lautoka.
