All Blacks first five eighth Luke McAlister doesn't think he's done enough to force his way past Stephen Donald to start at 10 in the Tri Nations.
Donald's likely to return from injury to regain the starting pivot spot, especially given McAlister's error-riddled game last night against Italy in Christchurch.
McAlister and the team improved in the second half but the 27-6 scoreline was the lowest ever for the All Blacks against Italy.
McAlister says he was "running around like a blue arsed fly for a while" but once they got into the game and set some closer targets to get over the gain line, things started happening.
