France are adamant the Wallabies are a better side than the All Blacks.

In a confidence boost for Australia's hopes of a first Tri-Nations title since 2001, French coach Marc Lievremont, says after their drawn series with New Zealand, Australia are bettern organised and don't amake as many mistakes as the All Blacks.

While the All Blacks have been without nine front line players in recent weeks, the Wallabies did see off Italy with effectively a B side.

New Zealand and Australia's other Tri-Nations opponents, South Africa, have had a tough preparation in going 2-nil up in their series against the injury-hit British and Irish Lions, winning the second test 28-25 at Loftus Versfeld.

The All Blacks and Wallabies meet in the opening tri nations match in Auckland on July 18th.
