Junior All Blacks retain Pacific Nations Cup

The Junior All Blacks have retained the Pacific Nations Cup for New Zealand following Fiiji's 19-14 win over Samoa at the weekend.

Even if Fiji were to record a bonus point win over Japan in their final match to draw level with the Junior All Blacks in the overall standings, the New Zealand side's win over the Fijians on match day two means that they remain on top.

Samoa stay second In the standings having completed their 4 matches, while Fiji are third.

Earlier Japan scored their first win of the tournament beating Tonga 21-19.

The Junior All Blacks, who are unbeaten after 3 matches, play Tonga tihis week.
