The former All Black star Jonah Lomu is set to play rugby again.
The French amateur club Marseille-Vitrolles say they're close to finalising a deal for the former All Black.
The club President Claude Atcher says Lomu at Marseille, it's the promise of a great story, of a human adventure only rugby can provide and of an exciting challenge for an exceptional player whose only goal is to help our club grow.
On the club's website Lomu is quoted as saying everybody thought he'd stopped his career but it's not true.
Marseille-Vitrolles play in Federale 1, the equivalent of the French third division.
Lomu, who had a kidney transplant in 2004 says he still feels the need to play and he likes the challenge to helping Marseille into the second division.
