Bulldogs facing tough test in Auckland

9:26 am on 10 July 2009

The high-flying Bulldogs will face one of their toughest tests of the rugby league season in Auckland on Sunday when their severely depleted team takes on the Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium.

Coach Kevin Moore will be without Brett Kimmorley, Michael Ennis and centre Josh Morris, who have been called up to the NSW State of Origin squad.

Kimmorley will be replaced by Daniel Holdsworth, with Michael Sullivan to deputise for Ennis.

Moore's also been forced to do without leading try scorer Bryson Goodwin and forward Greg Eastwood who were handed two-match bans over grade two infringements.

Also out due to injury are centre Jamal Idris and prop Ben Hannant.

The Warriors are boosted by the return of giant winger Manu Vatuvei as they look to stop a poor run of form that has seen them win just two of their last nine games.
