West Indies players are to boycott the test cricket series against Bangladesh due to start on Friday in St.Vincent
The Players Association threatened strike action during England's tour in March.
The association says it has tried to talk with the West Indies Cricket Board after playing the last four series without a contract but there's been no meeting.
It's not clear whether the board intends to try to find an alternative squad or if they will be forced to withdraw.
Bangladesh have played a warm-up game in Barbados against a West Indies A team.
