The New Zealand sailor Dan Slater has moved to third at the Finn Gold Cup world championship in
Denmark.
After starting the second day 11th overall Slater finished third in race three and fifth in race four .
The American Zach Railey leads by eight points from Great Britain's Giles Scott, who's six ahead of Slater with another six races scheduled before the top 10 contenders sail in Sunday's medal race
Sailors will discard one race score from their total points after race five, which will work in Slater's favour if he continues to bring home good results as his first race was his worst.
