The captain Richie McCaw is playing for Christchurch against Lincoln University while vice-captain Rodney So'oialo turns out for Western Suburbs against Poneke in Wellington.
In Auckland, John Afoa will play for University against Waitakere City and in Waikato, Brendon Leonard's Morrinsville Sports will play Fraser Tech and Aled de Malmanche will play for Hamilton Old Boys against Hamilton Marist.
In Hawke's Bay, Bryn Evans will play for Havelock North against Pirates while in Christchurch Wyatt Crockett will play for the Burnside Division 2 side against Otautahi and Owen Franks for Linwood against Belfast.
