The German golfer Martin Kaymer couldn't be in better form going into this week's British Open after a second straight win on the European tour.
Last week's French Open chamopion, Kaymer won the Scottish Championship this morning with a two shot victory at Loch Lomond over the Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin and Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano who's now had four second placings in Europe this year.
Australia's Adam Scott underlined his return to form with a closing 66 to tie for fourth.
South Africa's dual US Open champion Retief Goosen suffered a disastrous mid-round collapse to fall out of contention.
