Magic lament slow start against Vixens

The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic netball coach says if her side is to have any chance of winning the ANZ championship they must stop giving their opponents such big head starts.

The Magic lost to the Melbourne Vixens 58-43 last night in the major semi-final.

The Vixens now progress straight to the final and have claimed home court advantage.

The Magic coach Noeline Taurua says her side's slow start let them down.

Taurua says the Magic have a second chance to make the final when they play the winner of tonight's minor semi between the Adelaide Thunderbirds and the Southern Steel in Hamliton next Sunday.
