Halfback Brendon Leonard says there's a noticeable increase in intensity within the All Black camp as they prepare for the opening tri nations test of the season against Australia in Auckland on Saturday.
Leonard says in the week's first team meeting they discussed the approach they'd take in trying to beat the Wallabies and after their poor performance in their last outing against Italy there was a notable edge.
He says with a couple of key players back like Richie McCaw and Rodney So'oialo things have certainly intensified.
Leonard says having the Bledisloe Cup on display at their first team meeting also got everyone focused on what is required.
The team naming has been delayed until tomorrow.
