The Argentine striker Carlos Tevez has passed his medical and officially joined Manchester City, and he's used his first news conference to criticise his former boss Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United's manager yesterday questioned the player's loyalty, but 25 year old Tevez, who spent two years at Old Trafford under a lease agreement, said Ferguson had never communicated with him about staying with the champions.

Tevez was the third major pre-season signing for City who are owned by the Abu Dhabi billionaire Sheikh Mansour.
