Any decision on a player replacement for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic netball team will not be made until Friday.
A knee injury suffered by Halana Leith in Sunday's ANZ major semifinal loss to the Melbourne Vixens, and on-going calf problems for Francis Solia have left the Magic down on numbers heading into Sunday's preliminary final against the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
With the injured duo still receiving treatment and the extent of Leith's injury yet to be fully ascertained, coach Noeline Taurua is exploring her options over the next couple of days. That could include not having a replacement player at all.
The winner of the match will go on to met the Vixens in the grand final.
